UK release of the Happy Holidays DVD

A & E A Barry Manilow Christmas, Live By Request (December 2003), was Barry’s first ever Christmas-themed television special. This show was broadcast LIVE from New York City on a festively set stage whilst it snowed for real outside. Barry is accompanied throughout by a beautifully orchestrated big-band for this LIVE phone-in request show, which begins with a medley of `Happy Holidays/White Christmas/Happy Holidays,xbf followed by the evergreen `My Favorite Things’ from The Sound of Music.

Het gebeurd niet iedere dag dat je Barry Manilow op het schoolplein ziet staan. In Palm Springs en omgeving hadden ze de dag van hun leven.
x93Barry Manilowx92s Music projectx94 heeft 20 scholen blij gemaakt met instrumenten.
Waarom??
Barry Manilow komt uit Brooklyn, new York. Daar hadden zijn moeder/grootouders geen geld voor instrumenten en zeker niet voor een piano. Wel voor een accordeon en kreeg Barry zo dus zijn eerste instrument.
Nu hij een superster is motiveert ie de jeugd om muziek te gaan spelen door instrumenten weg te geven.
Het x93Manilow fund for healt and hope" zorgt voor de financixebn en andere organisaties zorgen voor de goederen.
